First painting done

It's been a crazy weekend and week. I am so happy that we have fall break starting tomorrow after my classes end, it's a much needed "break". Funny thing I said it in quotations because realistically I will not have any breaks, I will be constantly working arhgharrra!

Well as most of you guys know, I am taking a painting class this semester. We finally got done with our first painting project. We've been working on this since school started (around Aug) so it's been about 2 month-ish. The way we began painting totally looks nothing like our end product. We first started drawing triangles and such then we add/erased things. We looked closely to Jackson Pollock's work and that's where our inspiration/ideas was to come from.

This is my done painting (sorry for my crappy cellphone quality image). I'm pretty happy with it; I've learned that abstract paintings are harder than realistic paintings. Our next piece is going to be pop-art.
